Waiting on Marriage Certificate.

I was double checking my AoS packet, and I had to reorder a marriage certiricate. The one I have is a keepsake only, looks pretty offical to me though. I only notice because I read the back of it. There's no guarentee that the marriage certiciate will come back to me before I send the AoS packet off. What am I suppose to do in this situation?

When I did AoS, we just sent in a photocopy (not the original) of the souvenir/uncertified copy from our wedding day, because the county was going to take 8 weeks to send us the official one. We did not want to wait that long. It was never a problem, no RFEs or anything, we just brought along the official certified certificate to the interview.

Other people on this forum might advise you to wait till you get the certified official certificate from the county and send that... But my experience tells me that they're fine with a photocopy of the certificate you get on the wedding day.
