What to put? I864a

Filling out the I864a. In part 6 the second box on the page, below the household members signature, do we need to spell out the number or just put the number? Its worded a little strange. So if its 1 do we spell out ONE or do we simply but 1?

Also same form part 4 the checkbox indicating Taxes were filed. The household member filling out the form does not file taxes and did not file because it is not required based on their income ammount. Do we put N/A over the check box or do we simply leave it blank and they will figure it out with the statement sent indicating the household member did not file and why? I hope that makes sense. Any help is appreciated!!

We are just waiting on these 2 questions before my parents DHL all the forms to me in Mexico. The whole original signature thing is killing us. Its very expensive to send the paperwork from the US with the signatures so we are trying to get it all sent at once. PLEASE any idea on these 2 questions?

Don't check the checkbox. Write "did not file" in the box for the income for the years where they did not file.
