Hi,

I am about to start the process of filling out the visa aapplication for my wife but looking at the sample that they have, there is a question that reads:

Hace you ever been refused a U.S. visa, been refused admission to U.S, or withdrawn your application for admission at the port of entry?.

My wife applied last year for a tourist visa (before we got marry) and was denied in the interview.

Do I need to answer "yes" to this question and explain what happened at that time?

Thank you for your help.

I would say yes, then you can explain(a comment box pops up when you click "yes") the reason why your wife was refused a US visa. DO NOT LIE.
