Has anyone gone through Johannesburg embassy?

I noticed last week that our AOS status changed from 'paid' to 'N/a'. I called the NVC on Thursday evening and was told our case was complete, but no interview date was set from the embassy. Got a confirmation email Friday of case being complete and that we will be notified once the interview is scheduled. Does anyone know how long it takes things to go through Johannesburg? What are the interviewers like there?

Did you apply for the k-1 visa?

If so, it took months for the interview. We recieved notice that our case had been approved at the end of December 2014. We got an email showing that the Johannesburg embassy had recieved our case mid January. Then we got our packet three end of January. We scheduled our medical for mid February and our interview was scheduled for mid March after the medical.

Ah I see! Sorry for the useless information I provided. Saw Johannesburg and acted too quickly. Best of luck.
