CENOMAR??

Hi There

I've been reading some posts and saw this CENOMAR (Certificate of No Marriage)

Is this required by all Beneficiaries?

My Fiance` is in London, how is this obtained if it is required?

We didn't get one and it is my understanding that if one is required the embassy will order and and won't accept one from the beneficiary.

Interesting...my fiancee sent me an original copy of her CENOMAR, and I'm submitting that with her birth cert. and biographical information...odd that they won't accept it from the beneficiary, but oh well...it'll be in my packet, nonetheless! I don't know if it's required in all foreign countries...I know the Philippines uses them!!!

Yes the philippines uses them but it isn't needed until the interview.

I got my CENOMAR from National Statistics Office. That's where I also got my birth certificate. I obtained 4 original copies each just in case. I also sent authorization since my sister was the one who claimed it.

CENOMAR is only required in the Philipines.

Other countries may have a similar requirement, but not CENOMAR.

The UK has no such requirement.

The CENOMAR isssued by the NSO -

as is the Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate.

Doesn't matter who gets it

as long as it is the NSO that issues it.

The NSO is located in Quezon City.
