Unusual Medical Experience?

My fiancee had his medical today. as i put in a previous post we didnt have his vaccination record, his local doctor said he had to write some place and request it. Which we called the medical place and they said on the phone that it was okay when he recieved it he could just mail it to them. He passed everything in the medical today with flying colors and he had the german doctor as well, and he mention to the doctor that he was mailing them his vaccination record when he recieved it. The doctor told him he didnt have to send it to them, that it wasnt needed for the K1 visa. Has anyone else ever heard this before? I talked it over with my fiancee and we are going to mail it to them anyway, better safe than sorry. Just thought it was really weird and wanted to share it with everyone on here.
