Congrats l have been waiting since june 19 which was my interview date but still haven't herd anything since . Am wondering if it the norm.

Was everything normal as far as the interview went? Did you have to submit any additional papers afterwards? Any "Red Flag" type of indications on your application? Most that have interviewed on the 19th have received their visas, but it is a case by case thing though. I pray the best for your progress!

I brought all the required documents to the interview.

I was ask about 5 questions and after the consulate officer said l may go home now.

I-134 Affidavit of Support Form

2 Pay Check Stubs

2 Tax Returns

Letter from Employer

Wedding Planning Information

Copy of I-129F Application Sent to USCIS (All paperwork Submitted)

Phone Logs (Since Filing)

Whats App Chat Logs (Since Filing)

Letter of Intent (Updated Version)

DS - 160 Confirmation Page

More Pictures

Items Collected - However they may ask for any of the above things from various applicants so be prepared with everything.

Also,

Original Birth Certificate

No Impediment Cert

Original Police Record

Divorce Decrees(if any) for both parties

Passport and 2 passport photos

They didn't ask for any of the evidence of relationship at our interview. As Dame&Ash said it is different for every interview. I had it all just in case!!!!

At the very top of the status... Does it say Non Immigrant or Immigrant Visa Application?

From what I'm understanding it should go through 2 sets of "Ready" and "AP" which they do background checks, etc.....(One in "Immigrant Visa Application" status to make sure you information is good for approval and then the other in "Non Immigrant Visa Application Status" which is the actual processing of the visa before they issue it) Maybe you can call and see what they say.

I've been researching different forums on here to get a better understanding of this process myself. There is no real outline of processing at this point only the change in Immigration status to "Non Immigrant" lets you know you're in the final approval stages.

Hey Chrisjcc,

According to the website our visa is "Issued" waiting on the email to see when we can pick it up from DHL.... So does your status say "Non-Immigrant or Immigrant" Visa Application?

Has the embassy responded to any of your inquires? If it were me, I would blow them up with emails inquiring the status. They have caught up on the backlog so it can't be that. Maybe background checks or something is holding it up.
