glad you understand the point, Marvin. Thanks !

What can I say? I'm waiting for my Darnell translator to upload. Govt computers take way too long...

Very true. Great comprehension skills. You are a true gent;)

(F) I just hate seeing people blame folks that come over here for a better life taking jobs that folks don't even want to work in the first place. In DC, I saw nothing but immigrants working at fast food jobs. When I asked the manager why was that, he said they're the only ones who applied.

If you venture back to Japan, you will notice big changes. Now most of the staff at convenience stores are from other Asian countries , often with dodgy visas. (Many years ago foreign students only worked on construction sites or host/hostess bars under the table, so to speak), Without permanent status, they have little chance of making it big here... What I remember most when I was there, was the dudes from African countries running a lot of the dodgy clubs in Shibuya and Roppongi. From what I gathered, they run game on the Japanese women by marrying them, then ditch them after the residency requirement is met.

Unless you speak fluent Japanese, I know it's hard to get a job there period. I think the choices were English Teacher, Construction, Bar, or DJ.
