Can you give us a bit more information? What visa are you applying for? Which packet did you send in? In general, cover letters are optional, so maybe just relax and see what happens.

Thank you for your quick reply! Here are some more details:

Applied for the F4 Visa (mom applied for her sister in India back in 2003). The application was approved in 2005, and the priority date became current in April of this month.

I sent all of the supporting documents (financial including evidence and certified copies of all supporting docs including birth/marriage certificates, photos, police certificates, etc) out yesterday. I forgot to attach the Document Cover Sheet - highlighted in red below, with all of the documents I sent in ONE packet. :( Again, I did make copies of everything before I sent it out.

Method 3: Mail processing

If neither Method 1: Email processing nor Method 2: Choice of processing applies to your case, mail your financial forms and evidence, supporting documents, translations, and photocopies, with the Document Cover Sheet included with your NVC Welcome Letter, to the following address:

National Visa Center
Attn: DR
31 Rochester Ave. Suite 100
Portsmouth, NH 03801-2914

I would give the NVC a call in the morning to see what they say.
