Hi there,

I'm starting my AOS docs for my fiancé just to get a jump on them as we're still in process (I'm the USC). I had a few questions that I may have overlooked as I'm using the guides:

  • Is there a cover letter example that I could utilize?
  • in the 1st part B where I put my information-my name will have changed since we will have just gotten married. Can I put my married name or should I keep my maiden name since I'll also be in the process of changing that in all of my govt. documents.
  • Part 3 C where I'll need to put that he was in the Portuguese air force, it states that we need to have a separate doc of additional information. Is there any guidance on what information we should provide?
  • *please forgive my stupid question* Question 14-it asks about killing or injuring a person. Well obviously those things happen in military service; is that something we click yes on or no since it wasn't with criminal intent.
  • Same with Question 16 (Have you EVER been a member of, assisted in, or participated in any group, unit, or organization of any Yes No kind in which you or other persons used any type of weapon against any person or threatened to do so?)

Thank you for your help.
