Help! SSN pending forever

1. I POE'd on March 12 with TN visa. And I applied for SSN the second day March 13 using my previous February I94, not the March 12 I94. (Now I know how stupid I was). SSA did accept my application on March 13, and issued me a letter of approval saying a card will be mailed within 2 weeks.

2. I checked with SSA two weeks later, and I was directed to DHS verification.

3. Another week later, I found a mistake in my most recent March 12 I94. The entry date and valid date on I94 were both dated to be March 12. So I went to nearby CBP to have it corrected.

4. On April 20, I went back to SSA with corrected I94. SSA made me another application and it's directed to DHS verification again. (my feeling is that SSA agent could not verify in SAVE, so they direct to DHS)

I have been waiting since then with no further update. I learnt my lesson and I should have looked into this issue more seriously. Any suggestions?

My plan is:

visit another SSA and check the SAVE. and ask whether G845 need to be issued for me. USCIS or CBP could do anything here?

Thank you so much for the time to read my post.

so frustrating for the pending.
