I-864 Help

Hi,

My wife is petitioning for both her parents currently living in Vietnam. Both of their I-130 was recently approved, and I'm looking into how to fill out the I-864: Affidavit of Support and I-864A. Specifically in regards to I-864 Part 3, and Part 5 where we would have to add up the house hold size. We're thinking that the total house hold count is 4 on each I-864 form which includes my wife and myself and both her parents(which again each has their own I-130 filed).

But the confusion is how do I include the other parent on each of the I-864 for the total household count question on Part 5. Because of how Part 3 question 1 and 2 is asking. Below is how Part 3 question 1 and 2 reads:

Part 3 question 1. I am sponsoring the principle immigrant named in part 2. Yes or No (Applicable in cases with two joint sponsors)

Part 3 question 2. I am sponsoring the following family members immigrating at the same time or within 6 months of the principal immigrant named in Part 2. Do not include any relative listed on a separate visa petition.

Here I'm sure I should fill out question 1 as 'Yes'.

But on question 2, I'm not sure if I should check this, because of this comment, "Do not include any relative listed on a separate visa petition." If the other parent has their own I-130 and I-864 does this mean the actual house hold count for each I-864 is only 3 which includes my wife and myself and only 1 parent? Unless I'm maybe missing something elsewhere..
