Hello,

I spent my my first 12 months of OPT working for my Professor ( which doesn't require any kind of E Verified company status ), and then I was employed by a company that is E-verified and was able to apply for the extension of my OPT (EAD renewal). The thing is the case was received one day before the expire date (02/19/2015) of first EAD (02/20/2015).

As of now my case status shows: "On February 19, 2015, we received your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization , Receipt Number SRC1590200482, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case." TX service center.

I have a new employment that requires my new EAD to employ me. Am I really in trouble for submitting just one day before the expiry date ???
