Need Letter From Consulate For Medical

Hi guys. I booked my medical yesterday, after finding out that our case is in transit to London. I booked it for 2 weeks ahead, which I thought would give ample to for London to create a file for us. However, on the confirmation e-mail from Knightsbridge they state that one of the things you need to bring is a letter or e-mail from the consulate with your case ID number.

I don't know if this is a recent change, but I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere on these forums! Our case status changed to 'In transit' on 09/03, and my medical is booked for 24/03... do you think this will be enough time for me to receive a confirmation letter?

Thanks!

Hi - I had my medical on Monday just gone (9th March) and had the same questions going in. I didn't have my letter/email from the embassy (and still don't) and it was absolutely fine. They didn't even mention it. Just asked me what visa I was applying for and for the case number. Don't worry you will be fine ... you have booked the medical with plenty of time for it to arrive in London.

Good Luck!!

:)
