N400 has been pending since Dec 11th. Approved with recommended approval but still stuck at supervisor review. Has been 50 days now. Case is still not reveiwed or decided by superivisor. the online status check still shows interview scheduled in NOV.

I did an infopass 3 days ago but seems it didn't help as it is still the same with no oath schedule. I talked to tier 2 rep on phone who promised service request me for. He said he would send the request to local USCIS office for expedited decision request and that I would recieve a response from local USCIS office by email. He asked me mail or email response and I preferred the later & gave him my email. He did not give me any confirmation number or anything like that.

Any one knows what that means? will the chicago USCIS office contact me by about the service request? How long will it take a receive the email?

I believe that service requests are supposed to be responded to within 30 days (although I could be mistaken and it might be 45 days). Someone should contact you within that time to tell you what's going on; as you already know, the responses from USCIS are not always what you want to hear; you may get an email saying that you are approved or you may get an email saying that your case is still being reviewed.

I don't think you should expect much of a response from them at this point. While this is frustrating, there are dozens of people on here who have waited much longer than you. Most of the people who do infopasses and initiate service requests are told to wait 120 days. After that point you might have better luck, but before that they'll probably just tell you to wait. Hopefully I'm wrong and you'll get some good news soon.

Please keep us updated. Sometimes just initiating a service request results in a change in your online status.
