Hi,

I have a quick question, Im getting ready to file my wife's I-751, she would like to change her last name to mine and I didnt know if this could be done by changing it on the I-751 paperwork?

Unfortunately I didnt know at the time of the AOS that it could be done then. If it can't be done with this I-751 filing, when would be the next best time for the name change?

TIA

I'm not sure if you can change her name on the I-751 form but if you wait another year for when she can apply for citizenship, she should be able to change it then. There's a little box she can check on the naturalization form for this very purpose. Hope this helps!
