You can schedule your own appointment in the Dominican Republic now?

I just paid the fees and the ustraveldocs website is asking me to schedule two interviews:

Consular Appointment: This is the interview where I have to be at right?

OFC Appintment - I don't know what this is, is this for her fingerprints?

I am not sure how to proceed because she has NOT done her medical and don't want to jump the gun. I am seeing interview days as close as two weeks from now and don't know how to proceed.

Has anyone received their medical appointment letter yet?

Excellent question from OP but can you better explain your answer.

Or can someone else further clarify OP's original question

WHEN DID YOU PAY YOUR FEE?? I pay mine on Friday and I still can't get to doing my interview...Maybe I should call VAC tomorrow and have them schedule it for me.

I'll try and clarify.

We went ahead and filled out the DS-160 and went to the US Traveldocs page.

When I filled everything out, I reached a page to printout to send to my fiance so she could go ahead and pay at Banco Popular. After paying, the page will automatically update with the receipt from the bank - you can verify everything is good as soon as your fiance pays because the total due fees will drop to $0. Just wait a day and go back to US Traveldocs and you will be presented with 2 new options.

1) You can schedule your date for the interview directly with the consulate

2) You can schedule your fiance's date for the fingerprinting etc.

The closest date for me was less than two weeks from now.

I do not have any letter for her to go to the medical though - so I don't want to schedule too early, but then again, I don't want to wait too long.

Do I have to schedule the date, and then can she use that to go to the medical? I am going to call the embassy tonight, and see what I can find out and post here.

But it seems like we can schedule interview days ourselves now...I thought we had to wait for appointments.

Can someone else who did the traveldocs early confirm that they can schedule their own interview now?

Friday afternoon around 2PM Dominican time. I sent my fiance the money and she went directly to the bank and got the receipt.

Everything was automatically updated when I logged in this morning. I didn't have to do anything - it picked it up and gave me to option to schedule the interview.

Someone please clarify what "confirmation" do you bring for the medical exam. Thank you!

The total amount of days from the date I mailed in our K1 Visa application to the day my fiancé stepped foot into the USA:

1 year, 3 months and 8 days.

The amount of days from the date we mailed in our AOS to the date everything was approved (after 3 RFEs):

7 months & 5 days

Which makes our journey a total of:

2 years, 3 months, and 8 days

(L)"I remember the days I prayed for everything I have now." (L)
