Hello everyone:

I have this below scenario:

Lastest H1-B Visa extension stamping In Chennai,India:

Visa Issued date : 14-May-2013

Expiration date : 06-March-2014

Company : XXXX

In January 2014, Employer XXXX got acquired by Employer YYYY. Till Decemeber 2013, was receiving paystubs from Employer XXXX.From January 2014,receiving paystubs from Employer YYYY.

After employee transfer from Employer XXXx to Employer YYYY due to acquisition, Employer YYYY applied for my H1-B extension during the year 2014 and got new H1-B extension approval valid till

till November 2015.

Now,since am in India, need to go for Visa stamping again as my earlier visa expired on 06-March-2014.

My question:

In the INTERVIEW WAIVER PROGRAM "DROP-BOX" Eligibility Criteria, my ans is "Yes" for all questions.

But I am confused with last question -

"If I am applying for an H or L (individual) visa, my prior visa in the same classification with the same petitioner is still valid or expired within the last 12 months."

Since, I am applying for same visa type and classification but my previous Employer XXXx got acquired by Employer YYYY, does this hold good "as same petitioner" for acquired companies explained in the above scenario.

Please let me know whether i am eligible for INTERVIEW WAIVER PROGRAM "DROP-BOX" or not ?
