Amen! We had ice (freezing rain, to be precise) here in Texas for several days and that was terrible! I had never de-iced my car before. Interesting new experience...

I'm very disappointed. They said we'd have 3-6 inches of snow today and we've got nothing so far. If I look out my office window I can see some clouds coming in so maybe it's just later getting here then they thought it would be. I live in the mountains of NC and it's worse in Charlotte right now then it is here. Hopefully it will make it up here. It would have been nice if it had gotten here earlier so I wouldn't have had to come to work. Oh well, at least maybe I'll get to leave early.

Where in the mountains? I have a couple of inches and it is still snowing. I am an hour west of Asheville!

I live about 30 minutes from Boone. Where all the ski mountains are. It's just recently started snowing here. We don't even have an inch on the ground yet. It was putting it down pretty hard for a little while but now it's slacked off. Not sure if we'll make the 3-6 inch predictions at this rate.

ahh I went to college in Boone. I just went out to go to the bank and ended up sliding quite a bit. Still snowing pretty hard here. Think I am going to go ahead and go home.

Kinda a fun day when it snowed.

We were supposed to get ice on top of all the snow and now they say we won't even get that. I was all ready to play in the snow this evening with my niece and nephews. Maybe next time.

We got a load of snow...but it has stopped. I suppose we shall get some ice tonight! Sorry you didn't get any snow!!
