That's what I'm wondering too, our case got sent to California last month (Dec. 2006) and then the timelines said they were working on I485 cases from Sept. 2006 which wasn't so bad (3 months wait), but I just checked today and now it says they're working on cases from Sept. 2005!!!! There must be a mistake there somewhere, or I'm looking at the wrong list!

A transfer to CSC is usually a good thing because it means your AOS will more than likely be approved without an interview. There is still a chance for it to be sent back to your DO and you'll need an interview, but that seems pretty rare (only heard of it once). Everyone else has gotten a greencard w/o an interview.

The processing dates for CSC are for EMPLOYMENT based AOS, not family based like we are filing for, so they are irrelevant. Processing at CSC is usually fast (look at the CSC transfer list thread) but for some it can take months, but the general trend is fast processing.

It only took about a month for CSC to process Claudeth's AOS once it was transferred so hope you have the same luck. We were fortunate that we didn't have to have an interview and certainly don't understand why some do and some don't but CSC has been issuing conditional green cards without interviews so wish you the best
