Hi,

My case was expedited and sent to Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea and now my transfer request to the Suva embassy in Fiji has been approved. (My husband's country Vanuatu does not have it's own embassy).

I haven't found much information from cases in the Pacific, and was just wondering if anyone might know how long the actual transfer will take. The PNG consular advised waiting until the file was transferred from NVC to them before requesting the transfer to move things along quicker, but now it's been a week and while the CEAC status has changed to "transfer in progress" and no word from Fiji to see if they've gotten the physical file.

Also, how long before I would expect the interview to be scheduled since the case has been expedited?

Thanks for any help or thoughts anyone can give!
