I just got my K1 Visa yesterday and am now looking to drive to the US from Canada. Does anyone have any advice on going through land border crossings and/or which border crossing to use? Are any easier than others? I am travelling from Western Canada to the Midwest so I can use just about any border crossing.

Not sure how far east you are driving, but I would choose Buffalo (Niagra Falls) over Detroit (Windsor), just because government workers in Detroit tend to be in a constant state of anger, denial and incompetence. Fly into Detroit Metro Airport for a recent sample.
