Hi Yenni87, I'm understanding that you complete both forms, the 160 on line, which you print the confirmation page and keep for the interview. Also, you will need to print and fill out the 156k, but do not sign until instructed by the consul that interviews you. I hope this helps...

Good Luck, please let us know how your interview went!

Actually I just read that the 156k comes in packet 4. Disregard that notice, I had the same fear and I verified that the 156 is not needed for a K1 visa, just the 156k. But if you feel uncertain about it. Download it as well and have with you if needed. Better to be safe than sorry. :)

This is the first I have herd of the DS-156K what is it for,

I have been in email contact with the consulate my fiancée will use and they were kind of enough to email me a copy of what we need to prepare for ahead of time and packet 3 and packet 4 information and it did not say anything about a DS-156K.

Please advise, thanks

I had K1 interview in DR July 14 2014 and took the ds156k with me to interview and the consul did not ask me for that form at all. I presented it and he said its not needed. If I were u I take it just in case but it is no longer needed since they consolidated the ds156, ds156k and the ds157 that were requrred before in to to DS 160....that is sent in electronically. So u dont need it but I would take it just in case. I dont loose anything being over prepared....right???
