All It Took Was This One Tweet to Spark an Investigation Into the Grand Jury Reviewing Michael Brown Shooting in Ferguson

The grand jury that is currently reviewing the case against Ferguson officer Darren Wilson is reportedly under investigation for alleged misconduct after a Twitter user claimed to have received information about the case from one of the jurors.

The grand jury has been going over evidence in the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown since August 20. However, if an investigation uncovers misconduct, a new grand jury could be impaneled by the county prosecutor.

“I know someone on the grand jury of this case,” user @thesusannichols wrote on Wednesday. “There isn’t enough at this point to warrant an arrest.”

Though the user later deleted the tweet and her entire Twitter account, several screengrabs were taken and the tweet was preserved online.
