Hi all, my husband and I just experienced his visa interview at the US embassy London on September 19th. Aside for the usual post about the process I would just like to add that even though my lawyer notified the embassy that I would be joining him in the process on that day, I was not allowed into the embassy. They told me my name was not on the list and that I would not be allowed in no matter what. After speaking to a few different people it was clear they didn't even have an updated list with them. I was also told that they are eliminating spouses from entering the embassy now with there partners and this is coming more into effect as of now. It was very sad to watch a family of four get rejected and not allowed into the embassy with the wife that was applying. After two hours of sitting outside the embassy it was all worth it in the end as out visa was approved.

I'd also like to add that our interview was at 9am and we got there at 7:30am, more for the fact that we couldn't sleep and just thought we would go early and see what would happen. My husband was let right into the embassy and was 7th in line for the immigration visa. And was out by 9:45!

I wish you all well with the visa process and just wanted to add this little side not as it was very difficult for me to wrap my head around on the day!
