Hi all,

My Fiancee really moved to a new apartment where she will be living until she moves here. I went to the USCIS website to change her address so that they would have her up to date address. I couldn't find anywhere to change it on the site so I called the help line today and I was informed that apparently the only way I can update her address on our application was if I sent a letter to the office that was processing our application. I asked him if he could give me any additional information and he told me what basically amounted to "google it". We filed at the end of April and are in the stage where our petition has been approved and is being forwarded to the NVC. Now I don't know if I should be sending the letter to the NVC or to the office that processed our application let alone what to write in the letter to begin with. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Stefan

Hi! Here is the letter we sent to change my address. I think you should try sending it to NVC now.

my experience..my file was a few days at nvc stage (send yours asap) and they didnt send anything to my house, also my consulate just sends the package 4 by email and that is all. When consulate emailed me they had my old address but that was not a problem. You have to insert the new address in your ds160 and just in case i took a copy of the letter i sent to uscis to prove i did inform them..
