See below for my case details and follow-up questions. Any input is appreciated.

- H1 B engineer with the same firm for 9 years.

- EB-3 India petition with I-140 approved since Jan. 2008.

- Currently looking at a relocation to a different office with the same company due to personnel issues.

- Company is willing to do a H-1 amendment to the new location, but not a GC upgrade to EB-2. Company claims nothing will happen to my current EB-3 petition in a different state.

- I am now a manager due to work experience in the last 9 years.

- Company acknowledges that the job description will be much different due to the newer location and due to me now being a manager.

My questions are as follows.

- Will accepting just the relocation and H-1 amendment affect my EB-3 petition in a different state.

- If the numbers do become current (may not happen with the current pace of EB-3 India), should I go back to the original job location in PA to apply for I-485. If so, how soon should I revert back to the original location.

I am thinking about not accepting the relocation and just stay put due to these complications.

Any input is appreciated.
