Hey,

Please forgive me as I am new to this site. I am currently on the last stages of getting my fiancee here and need to know one thing. But first, allow me to give a little detail about my specific case. First, I am the American petitioner. My fiancee is in Cambodia. We, of course, are doing the K1 visa for her to come here. I recieved the packet 3 letter in the mail last week and have already sent the DS-160 confirmation page along with the I-134 affidavit of support with bank statements and letters from the bank officer. This of course is all for my side of what they wanted. Now, my question, is it pertinent for her to send in the optional form 169 to get the interview date or can she just forego this and wait?

With much regard
