I think what we did was, Sam sent me that letter of intent and then I printed it out and signed it, then scaned it and sent it back to him by e-mail.

It needs to be an original document with a real signature, not a copy. Maybe they'll catch it and send you an RFE, maybe they won't.

It has to be original letter, with original signature. Better send him a copy then he can have it printed and then after signing it, mail it to you. It might take some time before it gets to you - if he will use postal mail service - but at least you can be sure that you won't get an RFE for not having original letter of intent. Just my two cents...

Yea listen to the other, never to risk it, SAm and I were afraid that we might get a RFE coz of that, but we didn't, guess we are lucky... but like I said, don't risk it.
