Confused with tax requirement

Hi! Which one should i need to submit? Tax return or tax return transcript? Or are they just the same? And for 2 years, ive been filing "filing married but separately".. Can i just submit my tax or i should submit my wife's tax too?

And do i still need to submit bank accounts, etc?

I brought a copy of my 1040 and the transcript from the IRS and they only took the 1040 copy. I would submit your wife's taxes just to show she has been filing and submit your bank statements for the last six months.They may not look at them but at least give them the option.

Tax returns = copies of all tax forms you've filed. Clumsy and not recommended.

Tax Return Transcripts = a summary of your tax, simple yet most effective and recommended.

No bank statements needed, please follow the guideline, sending more doesn't help your application or speed up anything.
