Withdrawing K1 petition

Two month overstay. I was drunk when I booked my flight to the States and didn't get the whole VWP deal . I applied online at Heathrow an hour before my flight.

Yep. I drank on the flight as well so have no memory of going through JFK, and whether I was questioned.

Years ago before the VWP, a friend of mine went drinking in London and next thing he knew he was in Central Park- lone gone are those days!!

As the beneficiary, you can just not go to the interview. You have to wait out the process before any other visa will be considered. Sucks but that's the deal you have.

Please stop telling people this - its not true! You can file for the B2 alongside the K1 just fine.

I do agree the OP should write to the Embassy explaining no wish to pursue the K1 visa.
