We noticed when looking over the paper work for my wife to become a citizen (9 months away) that there is an option for her to change her name My wife will keep her name but she and her daughter wish to change her name (its to hard for Kids her to say) to her nickname that every one at school calls her. Is there a way to change the Name of a minor child during the process or does she have to wait until 18 as I understand she will become a citizen when her mom does is that right ?
