Consulate being a pain about paper sent via RFE...

My fiance had his visa interview yesterday and everything was fine except that on Part 3 of the I-129F I forgot to answer about my criminal history (it looked like it was for military personnel)

Maybe USCIS didn't forward it to them or maybe they didn't notice it in his file but I already submitted this completed page via an RFE I received in April

I emailed the form to the consulate again anyway and they responded saying that it had to be mailed because it requires an original signature. The page in question has no space for a signature! I emailed them back and told them that and asked them to please check his file..

The mail system in Brazil is so bad that unless I pay $100 to send this single piece of paper they already have via FedEx it will take WEEKS (with international express mail) to arrive there.

I don't know why I'm even posting except to rant. Maybe someone has a similar experience that they were able to smooth out quickly? I am very eager to bring my fiance here soon and he is really suffering from being in limbo

Do they expect me to send the entire I-129F again because of the missing checkboxes???

So essentially, don't worry about the signature. Phew.
