Unfortunately NYC has 3 different field offices so it is really hard to track a specific one. My priority date is March 12th and was placed in line for interview on May 5th (wasn't placed inline until 1 month was left to my anniversary...). Anyone else waiting in-line for interview with Queens field office?

Thank you very much, just read your interview experience. That was very helpful. I have 2 quick questions.

- Looking at your posts looks like you waited about 2months + 2 weeks in "placed in line" status?

- Did you ask for oath letter after the interview or did the officer just offered that herself?

Congratulations!

yes. I waited for more than 2 months to get interview scheduled after "place in line". it's normal if you look the average processing time in NY Field office.

IO just offered Oath Letter after interview done. I didn't request it.

Be patient. you will be that step soon.

Oh well, patience is really hard in my case as family reunion depends on this. Wish permanent residents' immediate relatives were at least given a visa... Of course I had to find a new job in NYC where everything is all about waiting in line :D At least I can hope I won't need to wait for an oath letter.

Thanks again.
