Hi all!

So my wife called the NVC pretty much every day since we received NOA2 and finally got our NVC# and IIN on May 20.

We're a bit confused as to what to do now...

We keep logging in to the payment portal and the IV portal, but the AoS/IV bills haven't been invoiced yet and I can't access the DS-260/261 either from the IV portal.

NVC has both of our email addresses, and we also sent the enroll email (as mentioned in the montreal wiki) to nvcelectronic@state.gov. They sent us an autoreply to that email that it was for document submittal only and any emails with attachments would be deleted, so we sent another enroll email to nvcinquiry@state.gov, but didn't receive any reply yet.

What should we be doing right now?

Sorry to say this, but you just have to wait. Again. It seems that now NVC has the backlog... aren't we all lucky! :bonk: It seems to be taking up to a couple of weeks to get anything happening with the bills and further processing.

The good news is though, that most Canadians are hearing from NVC that you don't have to wait for a response to the ENROLL email - once the time comes you just send your documents along. So that would be good!

Also, a personal hint - don't fill in the DS 261 until you get the email telling you to... I filled in mine before I got the email, and then it suddenly, randomly started showing as "not completed" after it had been showing as "completed" so I had to resubmit, and now I've been waiting for the IV and DS 260 since May 9.

Good luck!

I would not send anything until you get confirmation email that you are enrolled in EP. I got email invoices with instructions to pay I864 and DS 260 fees and submit docs before EP confirmation. Time line was as follows.

Case# April 11

Enroll EP email sent to NVC 4/11 (sameday)

Email invoices with instructions started rolling in so I paid them and submitted documents as they showed paid. Then comes NVC email 5/8/2014 saying case now enrolled in EP. Well all the docs I sent got tossed because they were not setup to receive them yet. I had 2 out of three NVC operators confirm that because it triggered a checklist saying we are waiting for your I864 and DS 260 documents. Well I had sent them a month earlier. Anyway, lost 10 days, finally resent them 5/20.

Nowhere on the NVC website does it say not to send anything until EP confirmation. Sad thing is that takes almost a month. So you could end up with all fees showing paid and having to wait for that confirmation email.
