Hi everybody,

our K1 petition is currently on the way from NVC to the Frankfurt consulate. I read that you can pay fee anytime and then you just print the receipt. I just went to www.ustraveldocs.com/de and tried to create a profile and pay the fee, since I will be out of town and not have computer/printer next week, however, when I click on pay fee nothing happens.... can I only pay the fee after I file DS160 or do I have to wait until the consulate sends me package 3?? Any advice would be appreciated. THANK YOU ALL!

You can pay the fee once you filled in and submitted DS160. When you're finished with that there will be a link and explanation on how to pay it. You have to create an account with http://www.ustraveldocs.com. I did not wait until I had package 3 - they're just sending you a letter with all the links. You can find all of it online.
