Hi, I'm a first time poster on VJ.

I'm preparing my documents for I-129F petition and am wondering what I should put in the box for A# both on the I-129F and the G-325A forms. I am a US citizen, having received my citizenship through my parents. I have a Certificate of Citizenship which has two A numbers on the top right hand side of the certificate. One is in red and appears to be the certificate number. The other is titled INS Registration Number. Is that second number the same as the Alien Registration Number which I have to write on my applications? Or do I just put "None"?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

You're a USC by birth? Born to USC parents? 'Cus on that case you shouldn't have an A#, since that's an alien registration number, given to foreigners only. If you're the USC and was never an alien, you should put down N/A.

I am not a USC by birth. My parents and I immigrated to the US when I was 9. They naturalized years later and I became a citizen through them that way. So I did have a green card when I was younger but no longer have one as I'm a citizen now. On my citizenship certificate there is an A# but it says INS Registration number, is that the same as the Alien Registration number required on the K1 and G-325a forms?
