Hi everyone!

A few questions about the I-864 form:

1. In part 1, are we supposed to put in the box "I, John Smith" or just "John Smith"? It looks like they have changed the form and made it awkward...

2. Husband is a student and has no revenue (we have a joint-sponsor), he put $0 for part 6-13-a1, b1 and c1. The form states "if your income exceeds the Federal Poverty Guidelines, you are not required to complete this part". Does he have to fill in part 7 (it won't be enough anyway)? If not, does he have to put "N/A" "$0" "none" or leave it blank?

3. He didn't tick question 13 and 14 of part 6 as he was filled as dependant on his father's tax applications. However, he has IRS letters of non filing. He still shouldn't check anything, right?

4. They say to leave things blank if the answer is "none", however I think I read somewhere that people had received checklists for this. So should we put on every blanks (even the optionals) "N/A" (or "none" ) ?

5. I think I understood it correctly but I just wanted to check, in part 5-3, he should put 0 as I am the only immigrant and was therefore already counted in part 3.

6. Husband worked during a semester as a teaching assistant at his university last year (non taxable revenue). So he put in part 6-4 (unemployed since) the last day of his work, right? Seems weird to me though as he is a full time student and worked an hour a week during 4 months.

7. Last question (sorry): for our joint sponsor, I remember I saw some weird checklists on this thread about a few cents missing in part 6-5, what was the problem again?? (I am worried he did the same mistake)

Thank you so much, some help would be greatly appreciated.
