No fingerprints taken at POE

I went through Atlanta POE yesterday and they only took my photo! No fingerprints taken! Has this happened to anyone else? Should I be worried?

sorry i am not replying particularly to your inquiry . i just find your posts very helpful. And by the way congratulations on your journey.. Well, as you know I have my own . I just want to ask you how long did it took before they call you for pic-up of visa after interview? I have completed everything last Marc 7 and it was updated AP and then last Monday March 11 updated to READY in CEAC. Updated again on March 14 and again today but still in READY..

Did you experience this? you said that they called you for passport pick up .. when did they call you because I saw in your timeline it is exactly 2 weeks and that is what I was told but 2 weeks after then pick up or exactly 2 weeks for pick up . And did you do it during morning or afternoon I meant the pick up? Did they call you on mobile, home phone or email? sorry, about all this question as you have been there one day is a one day torture.. hoping you will find time to reply. thanks very much..

Did they keep your passport after the interview? Did they tell you that you have been approved? If they did, you have nothing to worry about. Status changing from AP to Ready and back is something normal.

They called me on the number I gave them during the inteview, which was my mobile (the first lady that took my papers and asked a few questions about my relationship, also asked me for my phone number). I received the phone call on the 10th day and I picked up the passport on the 14th day. It was a Friday. They told me to be there sometime between 8.30 and 12.00. I was there at 8.30 and done by 9.30! The Embassy is not open to the public after 12.30 in the afternoon.

thank you for your reply. Yes , they kept all our passports ( my husband and 2 children) and after the interview I asked the consul if we were ok after submission of the said requirements . she gave me additional documents to submit so i submitted March 7 . Yesterday was the 10th day from 7th of March but have not heard from them . they just kept updating ceac status to ready. but they told me about 10-15 days.. cannot make any travel arrangements because of that and our original plan to leave was march 27 but ticket became so expensive so i guess i have to change dates, employer needs me ASAP.. i hope that everything will turn out well and they would call me soon: ... thanks again .. you know the ordeal I am going thru...

another quick question so they call you Monday? is it in the morning or in the afternoon? I have been hanging out on the phone and since I am alone in the house I refuse to go somewhere hahahahahaha in the sense that maybe i miss their call.. Monday got a call to pick up friday? So only Monday and Friday for IV processing... Did your status changed from AP to ready to AP again and ISSUEd? Mine as I said has been updated by dates 3x but all in READY..

I don't know if the proccedure is somehow different for your kind of visa, but this is how it went with mine.

The embassy will not call you after 4.30 p.m. They called me at around 1.00 pm, if I remember correctly.

And yes, my status had changed from ready to AP and then back to ready!

Well as far as I understood yours is fiancee visa k 1 ( before) which is considered non immigrant. Mine is employment based IV . Did you go to a room for an interview? Thanks for the info. Regarding probable time they would call.

Mine was delayed about 2 weeks as I have to fly to my home country so they gave me back my passport as my sister died and the scheduled travel dates we have where postponed and employer needs me ASAP so I am anxious of the outcome. Thanks again for the inputs.

Btw, did you get your GC already? How long after ? And SSN?
