Yes....the g 325a asks for fathers name......it doesn't ask if the father and mother were married tho.

Put the fathers name.

married Dec '03 in US

Feb 04...... I 130 filed......................approved August 04

March 04... I 129F filed....................approved October 04

August 04...I 130 for children filed....approved September 04

Interview: Jan 19 2005 in Sydney

No need!!! it will be even more better if you will not include the father's name since no section in the g-325 ask about the father, unless of course if her mother was married to the father.

you make me laugh with your response. right the application does not ask for the fathers name, and like you said unless the babys father was married to her mother.

:D:jest: did u laugh like this??? well, i guess u might be right... i forgot yeah it doesn't ask either biological mother and father is married or not, i was just thinking since the kid's biological parents wer not married, why bother mentioning him anyway? BUT IF u do want to have an EASIER and NOT complicated papers to process better not mention the father IF the mother has the sole custody of the kid. I believe if the biological father is mentioned, you need the paternal consent. What's the point of mentioning the biological father if it will only cause mess anyway?

Hi,

Is the fathers nae on the childs BC?...If it is then you will probably need consent even if you have custody...if the fathers name is not on the BC...then its not an issue at all...either way there is NO G-325a filled out for a stepchild....so its not an issue at this point.

NO you do NOT have your facts straight...if you READ the instructions for the I-130..page 2, #7(h)...you do NOT fill out a G325a for a step child...as matter of fact you do not fill out a G325a for any other person other than husband or wife...age of the child is not an issue...it does NOT depend on age.
