Hullo friendly helpful chaps!

I've been bounced back to my GP for a note on more information on my PCOS/Metabolic issue.

Does anyone know roughly what the doctor needs to write in the letter? I was diagnosed with this condition 15 years ago and have had numerous different tests etc. I really don't want to go into the whole history in this note as I just feel it brings up more questions when the most important stuff is

- I am stable

- I am on no medications

- It in no way affects my ability to work etc.

Any advice?

I had to get a GP's letter for cancer I had been treated for 17 years previously. It was very short and just stated the diagnosis, the treatment and the prognosis. I would think that three sentences or so to cover your important points above would suffice. I have my letters from the clinic to the GP and the from the GP in front of me so let me know if you need more info.

Thanks, got *something* today, so we'll see what they make of it! :)

There's nothing weird, I don't have anything to hide, I'm perfectly fit/healthy, so is annoying to jump through these hoops, but oh well! :) Just want to get it sorted :)

Wowza, 17 years! That seems so crazy that they'd be bothered.

Hey Appleslices,

Hopefully your Dr's letter will now suffice. I suspect that the Knightsbridge Dr's won't take any responsibility for the medical if there is the slightest grey area they will demand another opinion to cover themselves. It suck esspecially the amount you pay for the medical and the fact the individual doing so is an M.D.

Best of luck, hope all goes well.

Whelp, stuff was sent across last Friday and I was told they'd call with any issues, CEAC status is still at ready and hasn't been updated since 6th Jan, so guess i'm playing the waiting game and hoping they don't call.
