Quick Question on Paying Filing Fee Canada/US

I've searched the forum for answers without finding one, so apologies if this is a repeat question.

The guide says that the check sent with the 129F must be drawn from a U.S. Bank in U.S. funds.

It was my intention (I am the beneficiary/Canadian) to pay for the application fee using a certified check from my bank in Canada.

My fiancé (the petitioner/USC) does not have a bank account and works in cash only.

My bank, TD, has U.S. branches, so I'm wondering whether this will be an issue. Will they accept my check?

If your TD bank account is specifically a US one with US routing numbers and all, then I think it's likely to get accepted by USCIS. The cheque will not really be cashed as it is just used to get the routing numbers to schedule an electronic withdrawal from the account.
