Hello all!

Me again.

So since my last post me(BRITISH) and my wife(USC) decided to move to europe and file for DCF. We have recently arrived and have a few questions regarding the whole process.

1. Can she file the i-130 now via Naples (as its the consulate for Malta), or do we have to wait till we have lived 6 months in Malta as residents?

I have had people tell me send off the i-130 now and some recently have told me to wait the 6 months before doing anything.

2. What proof does my wife need to show she has been living and working here legally when it comes to the application process?

from the day we landed or from the day we get residency cards? We have a rental lease in malta with both our names on if that will help?

I appreciate anyones help!!!

THANKS!!
