My husband and I bought a regular tournament sized carrom board a few months ago to help pass the USCIS processing times and now with the whole process half complete we are beginning to wonder how to get it to the US. Should we ship it? Or should we just wrap it well and take it as an additional baggage on the plane? Obviously its too big to be a carry-on. Anyone ever brought one to the US before?

Pad it with clothes you wish to take to US, then wrap all of it in thick newspaper and tie the package with lots of twine -- then check it in to the airline when you fly out to US.
