I guess I didn't realize this could happen in reading posts in the past, but my fiance David has been to Lagos twice and has yet two more trips to make.

1. He initially went to Lagos to retrieve Packets 3 & 4 in November. He was able to complete one part of his medical exam and was given another date to return for the remainder.

2. He went to Lagos again this week. He had some immunizations that require him to go back in January. He did get his police report on this visit.

3. He's going in Jan to finish the immunizations.

4. He will be going 7 Feb for the actual interview.

Wow 4 trips!!! Is everyone experiencing this?

My experience has been like this...... he has not made it to his medical exam yet, let's see what has happened? He had a family emergency in which in law was hurt had to travel back to Republic of Benin. He had gotten ill and had to have medicine and decided to have a series of medical lab test done before going for medical. I geuss it helps that he is able to stay with relatives in Lagos until he is able to get things done for the inteview at this rate it looks like it may be the first of the year before he is able to get medical done...... thanks for the post it is interesting to know what others are experiencing. He did get the papers from Embassy he said they delivered them to home in the East by the way he was already in Lagos and had to have them delivered thru courier. :o I am totally in fear that he may not have everything done before interview time but have to remain optimistic..... the story continues we will just have to see what happens next  I will be glad when this is over!!!!

Oh I almost forgot he did go for police cert had to return with two passport photos and was told that it will take two weeks to get.

At least 4 is about right.. dontforget the police reports and then picking them up. Luckily my hubby lived in Lagos so it wasnt much of an inconveinience.. since I was there with him, we just made the trips into adventure excursions since my favorite places were the Silverbird Cinema and the beach

hello,i think the reason for this is because he lives outside of lagos and has to make trips to lagos unlike me so if he comes and he didn't bring something he needed along with him,it is a problem.i went to the embassy once in november and picked up packets 3 and 4 that same day and i went for my police report on the 21st and completed it on that day and my medical was done without stress and i have to go back on the 9th for the final pickup of the medical results.bye

love can touch once and last for a lifetime
