Name on Embassy Appointment letter differs from name in Passport (split topic)

I hope someone can answer this question for me. My wife is going for her medical exam but the Embassy appointment letter uses her unmarried name and her passport has her married name. My wife called St Lukes to ask what she should do and they said bring both new and old passport to show name change as well as Marriage certificate. The problem is my wife does not have the original NSO marriage cert or the original cert from the civil registrar. But she does have photocopies of both. Do you think that will be acceptable?

I need answer quick. I tried to call St. Lukes again buy they are closed for the weekend and Monday is a holiday. Her exam is Tuesday.
