I'm a January filer that had a bit of a problem. This process is all about waiting but when the wait was prolonged because of a mistake on TSC behalf, I was really mad/sad/disappointed. Got to the point that I had lost all hope on this K1 coming through for us and bringing our family together again. Heres what happened:

I applied late january, received my reciept notice on the 29th of January 2013. In May, I moved from Florida to Massachusetts. I called 2 days prior to my move just to give them enough time to change it. To me all was well because I received the letter stating we were transferred June21. This had me happy since everyone that was transferred was seeing things move faster. On July 9, my status update changed to RFE. I was a bit sad but knew this ment my case was being worked on.

The part where everything went not so good was when my RFE didn't arrive. I put in 2 service request. Then one day my status online changed to "address changed on Aug 15" I didn't know what that ment and a customer service rep told me to ignore it, that it was an automatic system and did that. So I chilled but 2 months past and still nothing happened.

I came on here for help and to vent and YOU guys helped and gave me lots of feedback. I contacted my congressman and was also told to email my service center for a follow up. This was last week I believe.

The e-mail was this week though, and last night at 7pm, my status changed again ! This time to RFE sent on Sept 25. I'm really happy. This means they FINALLY resent it and this time to the correct address.

I've been advised to wait a week for it to arrive so I'm calm, until next week.

Keeping my fingers crossed that this one actually makes it to my mailing address.

Oh and when I contacted my congressman men they clarified that my status change on the address change , ment thwy had just changed my address -.- after several months. So my first RFE was mailed to Florida. That's why I became so upset. How could they take so long to make a change
