This post is just an FYI...

I got off the phone with a very nice agent at the USCIS (Overland Park, KS since that's where my application went.) About a month ago, I needed to make a correction over the phone to my spouse's last name. They informed me to call back if I did not receive a letter in 30 days. Thirty days came and went and I haven't heard anything and when I called them, they said that they are so backed up with the sheer volume of applications and corrections needing to be made that they haven't even gotten around to addressing the corrections.

Not very good news but at least we now know that our applications will eventually be "touched".

Don't despair if you haven't heard anything, yet.
