Hi Folks,

Got a quick question... my wife came to the US on 11/17/2006 with a CR1 visa. She got her green card today in the mail and we noticed that the expiration date on the card states 11/17/2008. I understand that we need to file I-751 during the last 90 days before the expiration date.

Would it be a problem if we send in the I-751 form before the 90 day starts? Also, what is this Biometric test appointment that is sent after the I-751 form is accepted? What follows after the test?

I would greatly appreciate if someone could give us an ideas about the 'condition removal' procedure.

If you send the I-751, over 90 days before the conditional card expires they may accept it, or they may just send it back to you and state that you need to send it closer to the expiration of the conditional status.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
