I had my interview on Sept. 12. I checked my visa application status today (Sept. 12) it shows READY, your case is open. What does it mean? Some of the acquaintance who had their interview too on the same date had their status in AP now. They said after taking the interview status will go with this order, READY-AP-ISSUED-READY. Is it true?

I had the interview last September 12 too. My status is in AP too, but I was asked to submit additional documents.. I was able to drop it at 2go the next day.. I just hope we'll get our visa soon :)

Call from USEM  -------------    September 24, 2013 ( CO asking for the original divorce decree)                                                            



FedEx Delivered -------------    September 30, 2013 ( Original Divorce Decree on USEM IV unit)



IV Unit correspondence-------    October 8, 2013 



Ready Open Case--------------    October 10, 2013

I believe that is the usual status progression! Congrats!! :)


Thank you. Hopefully it won't stay long on AP status.
